If this is the first time you booted after installing new hardware, remove the hardware and boot again with only the keyboard, monitor and keyboard connected. Press F8 before Windows starts. Select Last Known Good Configuration (especially if this occured after installing or running a software package from CD or other external source; i.e., USB drive, Camera, etc.
