Exactly what happens when you try to install that driver file? After the running the file and decompressing the contents, does the driver file begin to load? Do you get any error messages?
I did Download that driver earlier this morning, and I did install it.
It does not show up in the Network Adapters, just my Broadcom shows up. Why is that?
It does not show up in Network Connections.
As for the Security in the Office. I had an external card about 6 months ago and it worked fine in the office. So I am able to access the network, it is not private.
Please help me further with this situation, I appreciate it so far.
I am able to install the driver. I go through the Install Wizard and it tells me that the Wireless card is installed, but when I get to see if my computer recognizes it, there is nothing to be found. I even tried to take the card out and put it back in.
Any more suggestions you may have would be much appreciated, because there is obviously something I'm doing wrong.
When I put the card in should the computer recognize it? Or after I install the driver you recommended? Is there any feature that I need to turn on or off?
The computer should recognize the card when you install the driver. Either the card is not seated correctly, the card is bad, or you have not installed the chipset drivers as the first drivers installed after reinstalling Windows. Did you recently reinstall Windows?
I did reinstall Windows about a half year ago, do to my system crashing. When I go to "Network Places" there isn't a Wirelss Connection option. As for the chipest drive, I notice that was brought up in another form...do I need to install that? And how would I know if I need it?
Yes it is a problem. The wireless connection will not show up in Network Connections until the computer recognizes that there is a properly working wireless network adatper. Since the wireless network adapter does not show up in Device Manager, the computer does not recongize that a wireless network adapter is present. Either the card is not seated correctly or the card is bad.
There is no wireless connection listed. Again, if the wireless network adatper is not showing up in Device Manager, then there will not be any way that a wireless network connection can show up in Network Connections. Your computer does not see the wireless network adapter - either it is not seated correctly or it is a bad network adapter.
Now that I have this card and driver installed I'm on my next step...I am going to purchase a wireless router. Should I get the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless Router-G? Or something else

Did you download the following drivers?
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R102320&SystemID=INS_PNT_P4_1150&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=8041&devlib=0&typecnt=1&vercnt=4&formatcnt=1&fileid=132284
After downloading, did you install the drivers?
Doest the wireless network adapter show up in Device Manager when you expand the listing for Network Adapters? Does it show up in Network Connections?
Is the wireless network in your office a secure wireless network (i.e. does it have features like MAC Address Filtering or encryption enabled)?

I've got three icons:
Broadband Connection: Disconnected WAN Miniport (PPPOE)
Incoming Connection: No Clients Connected
Local Area Connection: Connected Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated
Does this help you out with assisting me?
