Open Outlook and select Help from the menu bar. On the drop down select Detect and Repair. See if that repairs Outlook.

I ran the detect and repair routine and it seems to have gotten everything working correctly.  Thank-you very much for the suggestion, I would have never found that out myself.  Now if someone can only explain why none of my mp3 files show up in Mobile Media Player and I have to access them directly from the file explorer to play any of them...
