3100cn replacement installation disk

Question

I have a business account with Dell.  We cracked our installation disk that came with the printer, so were unable to set up our newer computers for network printing.  Figured let's call Dell for a replacement.  After one hang up, and 7 transfers for a total phone time of 61 mins, still on hold as I'm typing this (38 mins).  I'm thinking maybe this isn't the best idea.  On top of that, the computers that can print, are a combo of inspirion 1000's, 1100's laptops, and they are experiencing the dreaded power management problem.  .

I reached the spare parts dept.....and they hung up.  Gonna go to a meeting, call my apple rep, and began the dell trek again.

it's part number N4513, the dell electr rep has transferred me to the spare parts.  She said she couldnt get that part....this is transfer number 9....the saga continues....

Put in my last call to customer service and was told to email customer service. If anybody lives in the seattle area, email me and I'll cut u a great deal on the Dell printer. I might have to buy another one depending on what kind of deal my apple rep comes to me with.

Do yourself a favor and send it back. I just replaced mine with a Xerox 8500. The 3100 was the worst printer I've ever owned.

It finally came!! The replacement disk and at no charge, and yes, it has all the drivers on it including the mac/os X drivers. I sent a couple of emails that told me a couple of DIFFERENT numbers to call, but once connected to the right dept...it was sent overnight...and yes, that Xerox printer is very impressive compared to the Dell...I will probably replace this one when it breaks down (and you know it will...lol) with the new Xerox.
