I reached the spare parts dept.....and they hung up.  Gonna go to a meeting, call my apple rep, and began the dell trek again.

it's part number N4513, the dell electr rep has transferred me to the spare parts.  She said she couldnt get that part....this is transfer number 9....the saga continues....

Put in my last call to customer service and was told to email customer service. If anybody lives in the seattle area, email me and I'll cut u a great deal on the Dell printer. I might have to buy another one depending on what kind of deal my apple rep comes to me with.

Do yourself a favor and send it back. I just replaced mine with a Xerox 8500. The 3100 was the worst printer I've ever owned.

It finally came!! The replacement disk and at no charge, and yes, it has all the drivers on it including the mac/os X drivers. I sent a couple of emails that told me a couple of DIFFERENT numbers to call, but once connected to the right dept...it was sent overnight...and yes, that Xerox printer is very impressive compared to the Dell...I will probably replace this one when it breaks down (and you know it will...lol) with the new Xerox. Good Luck everyone with your dell support issues!!
