Latitude D400 infrared port under windows2000pro in Spanish

Question

My IR port does not work. It shows a code 10 error (can not start) on the harware profile. Current driver is SMC IrCC Fast Infrared Port version 5.1.3600.3. Does anyone knows how to proceed to make it work?
