try hitting Fn-F8 (CRT/LCD), my inspiron 8200 does that all the time, until i figured it out, it was incredibly frustrating. i'd disable it if i could.
No I know that one, that Aint it. In fact, when on External monitor it doesnt even report the internal one as existing.
Frankly Im really with all this now. Ive been on phone by poor technical support, no help via email. Dell really really are very poor at supporting there users.
In the end this is hastle that I don't need for a mere business tool. Im going to have to bin this and spend many hours reconfiguring a new Good supplier laptop at my expense whilst the share holders of Dell lounge in there success.
yep their support really bad, I'm a programmer and i also know IT stuffs and they refuse to listen to me. Rather than waste my time, have you go to safe mode yet, have you restart your laptop yet.
OMG, as an IT/IS guy, i know I did all i can before calling support.
