You cant be serious!

Question

I am really frustrated. Last night I had the same message regarding BIOS and CACHING ETC....I called tech support and THEY told me my hardware is not covered and its a software issue. Can someone pls pls pls tell me why on my inspiron 2200 laptop which is only 3 wks old I keep getting a blue screen which mentions the above. Thank you!

' A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer'   'IRQL not less or equal'   'If this is first time your seeing his stop error restart your computer.....   ....disable or remove newly installed hardware or software   ....disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing....

Oh yeah and they told me the would transfer me to dell oncall and that the person their would review the different prices for the diff plans they had....why would i have to spend more money!
