Can't help on the 'Advanced' problem, but wanted to make a general comment on Dell drivers. They will always be older than what you can get from the manufacturer - ATI or Nvidia. I really don't believe there's any burning need to stick to Dell versions, newer Catalyst drivers should be out there and constantly improving. For example, the latest 5.13 version Catalyst driver for Radeon cards is all of four days old.

Shouldn't be any issue if you upgraded to the latest and greatest, I wouldn't think.
