Inspiron 6000

Question

Hi. Just received my inspiron 6000. Looks great. I did notice when I was walking with it closed , the cover will move up and down slightly. Their is some play of about a 1/4. In other words, when the computor is down and closed it has a little play. you can press the front of the cover down about  a 1/4 inch .  The cover does not close completly tight. Is this normal? you can get rubber stick ons at wal-mart that will fix the play in the cover

yep, mine is like that and I have had mine for 8 months. but i only use mine as a desktop so it is not a problem.

This is actually a pet peeve of mine (admittedly minor). I hate the way the lid doesn't shut tight. It gives the laptop a feel of cheapness and make it look every slightly thicker than it really is.

I am using dell inspiron for 1 year but now the ''fn'' key isn't working and I can do nothing!

Users know what this key is working for!(now it is working just to switch on wireless ''fn+f2'')

Also I can't switch on my bluetooth manager!
