The file is part of the video drivers. Try updating the drivers.

I have the exact same problem.. and you are right it is when you are the BF2 Commander.  I have the SLI 7800GTX cards and am not impressed at all with their performance.  The clarity is great but the system crashes and the glitching is so frequent that I am totally unhappy with the XPS 600.  What driver numbers did you upgrade too... and did it fix your problem?

well, i didnt do anything actually. i am rarely commander, and it usually only happened when i would minimize programs super fast. but when it blue screens, read the name of the file and either replace it or reinstall drivers, i can imagine that would work.

I just updated the drivers and everything works fine... although I am still not that impressed with the performance of the GPU and the 3.8 GHZ chip.  Maybe I need more than one gb of ram, I only have 1 gb of the 677mhz ram.  Although, I have not had a crash while being a commander and that is after about 12 games.  :smileyhappy:

you DEFINATLY need 2 gb of ram to run bf2 well at all high settings.
