Sounds like you have a modem that connects in with the sound system. To remove it you will have to remove the expansion card (modem) from the slot on the motherboard and then disconnect the cable that runs to socket number #18 on the motherboard. I have included links below to the information provided on the XPS T model's on-line User Guide for your reference. Once the modem is removed that should take care of the boot up message about the PCI Communications Device.

I forgot to mention that once the modem is removed you should cover the opening in the computer's chasis if you do not plan on installing another card in its place. If this slot is left open it may effect the way the air circulates and cools the system. If you don't have any blank inserts available then check with a local computer shop. In a pinch you can careful cover the opening with some duct tape.
