Hmmm... do you have an analog / VGA port on the back of the docking station you can try?

I tried the VGA port on the back with no luck. I then downloaded EnTech's PowerStrip utility, and convinced my video card to run at 1920x1200. Looks like there is actually a video card problem - it has plenty of bandwidth to support 1920x1200, but the INF doesn't list it as a supported resolution. This question is better directed at NVidia and Toshiba, and not Dell.

Thanks!

Hi Chris, have you had any luck with the problem? I have an m4 and am hoping to get the 2405, but I may have to settle for the compatible 2005.

Thanks!
Chuck

try using another vidcard like the nvidia 6800 series. The one you have installed is not listed compatible with the 2405fpw

My solution was to use EnTech's PowerStrip. It let me configure the M4 to run at 1900x1200 without any problems. This definetly feels like just a bug in the video driver that Toshiba/NVidia should correct...

Thanks Chris... One more thing (if you don't mind):
So does the dvi really work well on the port replicator? I talked to toshiba when I first got the tablet, and they were hesitant. They said it'd probably be fuzzy, and weren't sure if it was digital all the way through.

I assume that if you're running it on a 2405 without any problems it works just fine and is mighty crisp. Please let me know if that is the case. Also, can you have it set up on the port replicator so you can still write on the tablet, or is that impossible?

Thanks again,

Chuck

the DVI connector works fine. tablet input works fine when in the docking station.
