Blurry text on TFT monitor E196FPb

Question

Can somebody help me on this, thanks!   I have a Dell TFT E196FP monitor running on onboard 64MB video card. The colors are excellent and any text on the desktop icons is sharp and clear. However when visiting web site (Yahoo, ebay for example) text colors are somewhat blurry and not as I used to see them on the CRT monitor I had before. I believe I have the up to date driver for the monitor and cannot tell if i wouldn't be better off with a standalone video card or rather visit an optician! Can you help?

Do you have the resolution set to its native of 1280x1024 and is the DPI set to 96 dpi in Display Properties by chance  ?.

thanks for your reply. Yes I do. I also read that other peoaple in the forum had same problem and - a part from trying things like "cleartype" or non digitally signed drivers or changing font size, have not really got to the bottom of the problem; i will try the cleartype tuner from microsoft and see what happens and/or also set cleartype option to "cleartype" However I don't have much hope...
