Inspiron wireless internal

Question

Hi I have an inspiron 1200 this notebook only have a modem. And for update it i got a wireless internal card but when i have made de installation i can see that this laptop don`t have the internal antenna   could anyone tell me what i can do with this problem   thanks

If you can, send the card back and get a PCMCIA or USB wireless adapter instead.

I have an Inspiron 1100. I also bought a pro/wireless mini pci card only to find that there isn't anywhere for the device to slot into and there are no antenna. Dell were completely unhelpful saying that they must be there. My eyesight is fine and i can assure you they are not.

Can anyone help?

Would the solution suggested above be applicable for an inspiron 1100 also?

Unfortunately, according to the service manual there isn't a Mini PCI slot on the 1100.
