I have checked with BVRP, and the following is the response I received:
Support_MS: (Wed Mar 29, 2006 3:42 pm) BVRP does not develop the Modem drivers, the manufacturer of the modems do. We do not actually make the Netwaiting program any more, we sold it to the modem manufacturer. You would want to contact them for any Feature suggestions.
Where on Conexant website, they say:
Modem Driver Support Conexant does not build or sell consumer modems; we sell modem chipsets to PC and modem manufacturers.
I think that means Dell now Owns the Netwaiting Program. Is there any method at all at the moment for me to be able to disconnect from the internet if there is an incoming call (Like change settings, registry or add another software etc.)?? or could Dell maybe update the Netwaiting software to be able to detect call waiting noise in the modem?
I know alot of people get disconnected from the internet if there is call waiting....but for some reason it doesn't happen to me. I read some article on the net saying maybe change the setting (or maybe registry?) can make the modem more sensitive to incoming call signals and thurs get automaticly disconnected from the internet....
The problem is I'm not very farmiliar with the registry...and I couldn't find any setting that I can alter to make the modem more scensitive.
