Possibilities:
Ac outlet bad or breaker tripped
Power cord bad
Battery bad
system board bad
Do you hear the fan?
Do you see any lights?
Do you see a small light in the power cord "brick"?
Or is it just cold, silent and completely dead?
If it is under warranty, call Dell. Once they are sure the notebook needs to be serviced, the turn around time is about 3 days. DHL picks it up and puts it in a box for you, slaps a label on it and ships it.
