I've had the same problem with my new E1505 tonight. It would not work with my D-Link router using the 128bit WEP encryption I had previously used on an older non-Dell laptop. It would also not work with 64 bit WEP. It worked fine without any security, but I didn't want to leave it in that mode. Eventually, I discovered it would connect with WPA-PSK security. What's wrong with these Dell 1390 cards? (I see other threads where (on other models) where they work in WEP mode but not WPA mode.)

I have the same problem. I called my ISP provider and they instructed me to do the following...  so give the a try and I hope that it will help to get you online on your laptop.

1   First unplug your modem and your router

I have the same problem. I called my ISP provider and they instructed me to do the following...  so give the a try and I hope that it will help to get you online on your laptop.

1    First unplug your modem and your router, wait for at least 45 sec to 1 min.

2   Plug your modem and wait for 45 sec to 1 min.

3   Plug your router, wait for 45 sec to 1 min.

4   Turn on your desk top computer ( be sure that your desk top is turn on)

5   Turn on you laptop and that should get you connected to the internet.

Good luck,

Dak
