As far as the blue screen is concerned you'd need to get the exact message before anyone could help and I would post it in the Windows XP Software forum. (I assume you are running XP). Do you have Roxio installed? You can burn there. I don't use Real but if you have problems with it you can remove it in Add/Remove programs and download it again from Real.Com if you really want to. Again, without more info I am just offering a few suggestions.
my notebook wont chargewhile the computer is running, unless you hold the plug in a certian way,
What if the computer is shut down? Is the insert bent? Is it pushed in all the way?
when the computer is off it still wont charge. i have to hold the plug in, the little wires in the back ar not bent, and ys it is being pushed in all the way. i have to hold it in all the way, and push down. i got it charged up to 90% this way, but im afraid to use my computer, and make the proublem worse.
i'll get the exact message tonight, and try to post it either tomorrow or monday. i rember that it had a count down till it started it's self again. then it loaded, and said safe start, then a few other options. then it loaded itself.
thanks for you help, but is there some where on this site that i can put in a zip code and find a store in my area...
If you are getting a message with a Count down you could have the Blaster worm does the message say something like NT authorization failure or something like that then it says System shutdown in 59.58.57 etc? As for your charger I would suspect either a bad plug on the charger or the connector on the motherboard is bad in either case your computer will HAVE to be serviced. If you have the on-site warranty they will come to you if not unfortunately you will have to send the thing in. Take care and good luck
no, it dosent shut down... it goes to the normal screen asking for my pass word, i think i have to scan for a virus, that may explain why my media player stopped working.
ill try and scan for viruses, then ill get back to you.
