Inspiron 9400 and intel 3945 Wireless card

Question

Hi,  I got the Inspiron 9400 with the intel 3945 Wireless Card. When I activate the wireless card ( ) the wifi led begin to blink (green to black) and I was unable to connect.   What mean this blinking??   Thanks

It means it is trying to find a wireless network to connect to.  Do you have your own wireless network or are you within range of a wireless network that you have permission to connect to?   Steve
