I'm having exactly the same problem. This was only after updating the Bluetooth stack. The only drivers that work for the malfunctioning USB device (while windows xp2 stack is disabled) are the Dell U2 CSR Drivers...
Dell really needs to publish a stack cleaning tool as reinstalling windows is such a cop out solution....
This seems to be sort of the solution... http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_wireless&message.id=16490&query.id=12308#M16490 I had it working before but had to recover windows, now I am having the problem again. I downloaded the appropriate service packs and got Dell U2 - CSR driver showing up in device manager, but when I try to install "setup dell bluetooth stack" and it tries to install bluetooth driver, it stops near the end and it says "press F2...." What am I supposed to do? Device manager lists no bluetooth devices but that dell u2 - csr driver under usb devices.
