help with my palm pilot

I have a Dell axim palm pilot and when i get on the internet and download a file called twilighttownfield and then try to open the file it says thare is no application with twilighttownfield run the application first then open this file from within the application. how do i do that?

First, Axim is not a Palm Pilot.  Palm Pilot is a specific PDA model by the original Palm company.  Axim is PDA produced by Dell that belongs to the Windows Mobile Pocket PC device category.   Second, did you download the file onto your computer or onto your PDA?  Is the file an application or a data file (such as a document)?  If it is a data file, you will require to install the appropriate application to read it (just like any other data or document or media you want to access), in which case you need to find out from where you downloaded this file what application you need to install. thare is another problem with my pda when i hook it up to my computer it says that it is synchronizing but its not what should i do?

Try a soft reset on your Axim (like a reboot) before attaching it to the computer by pressing the reset button once with the stylus.
