As I wrote: i have tried already another battery and another charger. The leds of my own battery do light up when I press the check-status button on the backside of my battery.

Luc,

I'm no expert but sudden shut downs can be indicative of a power supply unit problem.  When you ran diagnostics, did the program check the power supply?

hi Luc, I meant the internal power supply unit, not the battery or charger. Sudden freezes and shut downs can sometimes be due to problems with the internal power supply unit causing overheating, or I've heard of problems with the cpu fan causing this - all due to overheating. However as I said I'm no expert, but it is something to be considered.

Oke, thanks. I will try to locate the internal power supply en try to estimate the temperature.
