Color Problem with E151FPb Monitor

Hi,   The color on my monitor has gotten noticably darker lately. I've tried doing a search in the forum about this sort of problem and I:   Ran a Self-Test (I saw the floating Red, Green, Blue, White floating box)  I reset my monitor to the factory settings via the OSD menu I used the Auto-Adjust button on my monitor   None of those attempts solved the problem. A few months ago, the color did get darker but not dark enough to really affect watching videos, playing games, or viewing web pages. Today, it got even darker all of a sudden. The brightness is now at 100 and it's still very dim. Playing pc games and watching movies on the monitor has become very difficult. Does this mean that I need to get a new monitor? Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but another question. I have the E171PFB monitor. How did you reset your monitor to the factory settings? I checked the on-line manual and could not find anything.

Sounds like a problem with the backlight or the inverter on your monitor, send it back if its still under warranty, if not there are companies that will do tft repairs depends how much you are willing to spend usually they'll dignose the problem and give you a quote.
