Have that model, had that problem. Update bios solved problem.
Also, get into system setup and see what the updated bios is reporting on you AC adapter. It should report the same wattage as is printed on the adapter.
That happened to me as well, but updating it did no good. My motherboard was shot. I had to get it replaced after only having my laptop 24 months, nearly to the date. Then 6 weeks later, my adaptor stopped detecting electrical current. Coincidence or just purely unlucky to have it worn out already?
