Make sure that you are using the correct resolution with the monitor. When I first set up mine (2007WFP) on Windows, it was running at 1600x1024 when native resolution is 1680x1050. I couldn't even set the resolution to the 1680x1050 in the Windows control panel. Everything looked good except for text, which looked a little fuzzy (especially on smaller text).
On some forum somewhere, someone said that they had install the video card driver from the monitor installation CD and that that made a difference. Well, that made a difference for me, too. (I have an NVidia GeForce FX 5200, and this made all the difference for me ... ) I had previously tried installing the latest version from the Internet, but the driver didn't work for some reason (maybe I had done something wrong?).
I'm interested in this too. My soon-to-be-sent-back 2007FP is a little blurry as well (yes, drivers installed)... way more so than my other LCDs, which are pixel-sharp.
If the firmware fix fixes the blurriness as well, I'll re-order.
