how can i install oudio on d400

Install in this order:
1. Notebook System Software for D400. Restart the laptop.
2. Intel Mobile Chipset software for D400. Restart.
3. Sigmatel AC97 audio driver for D400.
The only operating systems supported are 2000 and XP.

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.
That system’s BIOS does not offer a way to disable the sound card.
