haven't played the games on that card but I played halo on my gf4 440 just fine. Not sure of the framerates because I didn't know how to timedemo in that game but it ran quite well. I'm sure for that game you'll be just fine :D
played halo on mine alot plays fine online dont know my fps but got I8000 with GF 440 64mb card an halo fine on that so new card it 110% BETTER! the 1st week didnt know but i was playing halo on wifi lol it played good now playing bf1942 an N4S UG
im testing it to max with all games got
I have played both Halo and Deus Ex IW with max settings on my I8600 with the ATI 9600 PRO 128MB and was completely satisfied. No lag, no artifacts, great detail. I happen to have a Samsung screen btw.
I had problems with the 44.28 drivers and I had to run at Pixel Shader 1.4 but since 53.03 I get fair performance. I do however run HALO without AA and at average slightly below MAX MIPMAP level too.... as well as closeing all background apps ect....
That explains a lot (no AA). I'm overclocked (core 374 and memory 689 [max temp 90 C btw]) and I can't even get over 7 fps (1024x768) when there are more than 5 monsters in a room :)
Yeah HALO was made with a crummy engine and performance generally suxs, I dont think its you card, plenty people have had trouble with this game.
To improve framerate alter the HALO inf file and select pixel shader version from 2.0 to 1.4. The performance will increase 10 fold and there is not much more difference from PS 2.0 over 1.4 in my opinion that I can see in game anyways. It still looks awsome too =)

68 fps? using Pixel Shader 2.0? using timedemo??
I have the same setup and can only get around 28fps running at 640*480 -
