I have 5700LE and 2405FPW, too. They work great although I use D-SUB.
I tried many driver versions for the DVI connection, but no luck on 1920x1200 res.

That's a known "issue" with the entire 5xxx chipset family, unfortunately. It really can't drive a monitor at 1920x1200 via DVI, only analog as you've noted. You'll find many posts here to that effect.

I know. Still, while there was alot of excitement and promise when the 5xxx cards were coming out, most of it fell flat on its face. Except, perhaps, for the high end 5700/5900 Ultra models. [shrug]

If you are going to run a large monitor nowadays, I'd suggest a video card that isn't two years old - consider upgrading to one of the new AGP models, like a 6600. Heck, there's even a version of the 7800 that supports AGP now. Your monitor will thank you. :smileywink:

All of this "In My Humble Opinion", of course.

Actually there are some people who can use 5200's DVI with 1920x1200 on Windows. They have a specific driver on their boxes, and I tried the same driver for my 5700LE, but didn't work.
