help get Puper off

Question

It all started going to a college online class site. I had a blocked page. The Internet explorer came up asaying this page could not be displayed. In the top it said that there was some adware blocking me form this site. It told me to download SpyTrooper. I only downloaded the trial version and it returned all of these detected files. I took no action. Instead I found that this SpyTrooper was really a bad thing. I instantly had Mcafee tell me it detected  Brave Sentry Trojan. Somehow I did get the trial version off. I did the windows updates. Now Mcafee is popped up telling me that 'The file C:WINDOWS\system32egperf.exe   is infected by the Puper trojan can cannot be cleaned.' When I try anything to remove it, it says The trojan 'regperf.exe' was dectected but cannot be cleaned, deleted or quartinted. It recommeds that I restart me computer and use a Rescue Disk to clean the infection. I also now am getting constant pop ups telling me my computer is infected and to download more anti spy programs. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, 'What's a Resuce Disk?' Doesn't look too bad.  Run smitfraudfix per: http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=si_hijack&message.id=34432 and make a new HJT log and psot it as a Reply when done. Ron
