1) Turn off the computer
2) Remove the battery
3) Moisten (not dripping) a lint-free cloth with water or a display cleaner (no alcohol- or ammonia-based cleaner). (Avoid using a paper towel, which can scratch.)
4) Gently wipe the display working from the center to the edges. Avoid excessive pressure.
