Dell 2405FPW USB, + Card Reader issue

Question

I have 24 inch lcd monitor. Recently the usb ports, and the card readers are no longer functional. I have downloaded all the latest drivers. To no avail, the card readers do not show up as additional drives any more, and the usb ports are no longer functional no matter what i try. Went into device manager, and it shows nothing wrong. The only thing that happened recently is that I took my shuttle p.c. to another house to do some work, and came back, and these problems occured. Is there some setting, switch, something that could have possibly changed? any help would be greatly appreciated, since i was so used to using all these ports, and readers before. Thanks.

Did you reconnect the upstream USB cable between the monitor and PC?
