Hi,

It may be a faulty KBD, which you will have to replace. It would be worth running the Diags, before buying a replacement.

Before you replace the keyboard, first try a complete shutdown and restart.
1) turn off LT.
2) remove battery.
3)remove power plug.
4)wait a few hours, or better yet overnight.
 
Reconnect everything power up and see how she goes.
It works for me. . . so far.
I still don't know what causes the Fn+key to stop working in the first place.

Suggest cleaning your KBD with compressed air.
