Do you know how to use your on screen menu? Look at the instruction card thing. The menu is the 3rd button (the middle one next to "-")

In the OSD menu go to Display Settings.
For no stretching at all, select Wide mode of 1:1
For it stretch larger but maintain the correct shape, select 4:3.

Thanks Dufflover for the information, unfortunately that option is greyed out in my monitor controls. I have the monitor connected with the DVI cable and I don't know if that is why it is greyed out.

I did a search and found that I can use my Nvidia control panel which I have now done. It does not look the best but at least I can now re-visit my most favourite game.

If you still want to try again with the monitor settings, try setting your nVidia control panel setting to "Centred Output". (heck just try them all).
