Securing My Wireless Router

Question

Is there a simple procedure for securing my Dell wireless router.  I'm sure it's somewhere within the bowels of this website, I just can't seem to find it. Thanks, Dave

I have a netgear router, and I had to go in to the set up page of the router to enable wireless security. This has to be done via ethernet, and you open your browser window and type in the ip address of the router (with me it was printed on the booklet that came with the router). HTH

Hi, we just went wireless in our house so I can relate to your problem. I'm a sound tech at church but am not very good with networking, but I believe that there is a website in the manual that will take you to a site from netgear about how to set up security on your wireless network. If not just go to the company's site and look around there.
