Installation of drivers from download, Dell Laser Printer 5100cn, v.MR3, A03

The installation instructions for the subject drivers is below (from Support Web site). Running 'Extract' from ZIP file creates multiple subdirectories, but there does not appear to be a setup.exe or other install file in the ZIP file package. In particular, Intruction 8 below does not occur after execution of Intruction 7. How does one install the drivers from this package? Thanks in advance for your help. Install 1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled 5100cn_MR3.zip. 2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R113554. Write down this path so the executable (I.e. Setup.exe) file can be found later. 3.The Self-Extractor window appears. 4.Click OK. 5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor window is still open, close it. 6.Click the Start button and then click Run. 7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R113554 in the Open textbox and then click OK. 8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

If you open the folder that you unzipped the files to, you will find the drivers. It will have them listed in English, Spanish, etc.

To load them, use the printer properties and update driver-use have disk ond browse for the folder containing the drivers. It will select them when you open the correct location that they were unzipped to.

But what if you don't have the printer previously installed?  How do you get the drivers to install if there is no installed printer and therefore no properties??

Use Add Printer and then when it prompts you for the drivers-then the same way that I said above. You can also use the disk that comes with it instead and then update the drivers.
