2007WFP Issue.......timeframe for returning the defective monitor

Question

Hi All,   did anyone know the timeframe for returning the defective 2007WFP after receiving the new one and what will happen if the returning will be delayed? I'm asking because i'll spent my vacation in the US and there is nobody at home who can return my defective monitor in this 4 week periode. The vacation is still a month away, but nobody knows how long the exchange will take for us German customers.   Thanks for any hint.   Regards Steffen

The normal 21 day return policy doesn't apply to 2407/2007 banding issues. If you want to return it, we will work with you. Within reason of course. Anything within 60 days shouldn't be a problem.

Hi ChrisM,

little misunderstanding here.

My question was about my current A00 monitor i'm waiting to be exchanged with a A02 monitor. If everything goes wrong the exchange monitor will arrive during my vacation absence. So, receiving the patched A02 monitor won't be a problem, but sending the A00 back to you could be a bit delayed due to that reason.

I don't want to send my current 2007 back before i got a patched one nor give it back for a refund.

or get charged for not sending back the old one   afaik standard return policy for returning parts is 2 weeks, so I hope that answers the base question of what the timeframe policy is.   so in your situtation if you need more time you'll just have to give them a call or e-mail for a special arrangement/notification of your time frame.
