Brockisit,

If you have acid reflux disease, you should contact your doctor about Nexium or Prilosec or Tagamet or Zantac or a similar product to ease your discomfort.  Then you should be able to use a phone to contact Dell Spare Parts folks and order part number 8F867.  The Dell Spare Parts listing online does not include batteries for the 2600 or the 2650.  You can also check with aftermarket vendors including:

or other.  Google "laptop batteries" and you will find many vendors who carry both oem and compatible batteries for your system.

Hey BB,

Got any thing for a bad cough?  Computer ills & human ills what a site!  That was great heads up advise on both accounts.

I already tried that, wow dell is giving everyone the run around, I talked to sales, and they told me to call in, and I kept telling the lady ,I cant call in due to my disease. I need to learn to get the stuff for my machines from vendors. If you guys know of any other good vendors please let me know.

This company has a strong warranty on Dell batteries with a higher capacity:

I've bought from them in the past and have been satisfied.
