Call Dell and have them replace the hinges under warranty.

wouldn't that require me to send in the laptop to dell and pay for shippin and all that from my own pocket? also isn't there a way to tighten them myself?

They generally cannot be tightened - the hinges must be replaced.

If you have a return-to-depot, Dell will ship you a box; it'll cost nothing.

yeah so then i won't have a laptop during the time that they are fixing it ? they don't provide loaners?

No. If you can't afford to be without the system, pay for an upgrade to onsite service before you call for the repair.

No, no...

The screws come loose eventually... I didn't notice on mine until one fell out (jeez).

Anyway, I now go around and tighten all the screws every few weeks. Screen no longer wobbles.

Just don't send it in. It's not needed.
