Enter key gone berserk

Question

My enter key suddenly started 'pushing' itself, at first I thought maybe it was a software problem in Windows, like a annoying virus or something. But then I restarted the computer, and the thing happened while selecting operating system, I could even see the screen to select from Windows Vista / Windows XP before it went into Vista. I also tried to take the whole button off, thinking maybe it was stuck in some kinda way but it did nothing. I read up a bit on this board, to run diagonostics etc. but is pretty hard to get the right things running when your enter key 'pushes' itselves every 0.1 sec. What should I do ?

Hey voodoom, Before I can help you, Could you please answer these questions. What kind of computer is it, do you know how to take the keyboard off, and do you have an external keyboard?
