Did excessive cleaning fluid caused screen damage on a 1905FP

Question

I have used 3M Anti-Static Electronic Equipment Cleaner to clean all types of hardware for years without any problems. When used as directed, I found it to be an excellent cleaner for all types of monitors. It is especially effective at removing fingerprints from LCD monitors. Unfortunately, one of my users cleaned their 1905FP without reading the directions or my approval. They sprayed the cleaner directly on the screen and then went to get a paper towel to wipe away the excess. The excess cleaner pooled at the bottom edge of the screen and began wicking up between the hard coating sheet and the LCD screen of the monitor. Capillary action has moved the fluid in vertical lines up to the top of the monitor then progressed to horizontal lines across the face of the monitor.    I hope that someone has experienced this user induced problem before and has an easy fix. Could the monitor be taken apart and dry the surface between the hard coating and the LCD screen?  Is this monitor ruined or can it be saved?

Deduct the amount not written off on taxes from the persons' salary;)

I am not sure about this product for cleaning lcd s the user manual suggests some ways & more can be found online.

Paper towels and LCD screens do not mix... Very, very soft cotton cloth only....

not recommended to spray directly on the screen, and also agree, paper towels a big no-no

i use an old cotton cloth,,tee-shirt-, and just sprinkle a bit of water on it just to get it moist,,,but not completelly wet, and wipe,,GENTLY,,... it does the trick
