It's only a sticker. But, wait, it's a high performance sticker, like some people put on their cars or dirt bikes. I must have one that is high performance.
I do have the 3945 wireless card. And I have a Centrino sticker. But I have seen "Centrino Duo" stickers which I think would more accurately describe my system. But it's a petty little thing. Nice to have the right sticker, but won't change a thing.

Intel would prefer you to believe that the complete Centrino platform is better than a Core Duo system that does not meet Centrino specifications. Currently this actually is the case in my opinion as I would take Intel wireless over Broadcom wireless any day of the week, but it's not guaranteed that a non-Centrino system will have wireless inferior to the IPW3945. It just happens that Dell's non-Centrino alternatives ARE currently inferior.
