Make sure you installed the chipset drivers. You can download them from the Dell site.

i just ran into the same thing after reloading my operating system and new hard drive, but tried the chip set download and I still have asteriks (or question marks) for ethernet and the other three. Can someone provide some guidance please. thanks.

Did you try reloading the problem device drivers AFTER you loaded the chipset driver?

I tried, well, using the OS disk that Dell sent me, but it's not finding the drivers...  I guess I'm not exactly sure what drivers i need, I tried on the Dell site to look for em.  But it seems that this is a recurring/known problem for folks who have to put in a new hard drive.  Maybe the disk Dell sent me is wrong?    But I get those same faults that the others have talked about.  thanks for looking at this.
