Accelerated iSCSI on PE 1950

Question

I noticed when we installed and enabled TOE support on one of new PE 1950's that it also has an option for Accelerated iSCSI. However it's locked and needs a license key. I was unable to get any help by calling the support number, as the support rep said that iSCSI 'isn't supported on a Power Edge 1950'. I then called broadcom and they pointed me back to dell is the NIC is a OEM broadcom. After toying around in the Broadcom advanced network suite I noticed a license tab that list that it has TOE license that supports 1024 connections, iSCSI 0 connections, and RDMA 0 connections. How would we go about getting a license for acclerated iSSCI and RDMA? Is this possible? Scowering thru other tech sites I show other OEM's that have a license pack, but was unable to find anything here on the Dell site. Any help is much appreciated.

Dell does not currently support iSCSI support for TOE.

Does Dell plan on supporting iSCSI accelleration and iSCSI boot? The NetExtreme II chipset appears to support both but the firmware on the 1950 does not seem to. Is this on the road map? It would be a valuable feature since it would save buying a seperate HBA ($1000+).

Check out the newest firmware. Has an ability to add an iSCSI Offload key... maybe this enables the feature?
