I got the information that A03 use the panel called HN208 instead of Samsung's. Does anyone know which company is making this panel?

Your kidding right? I have never heard of a company switching panels within the same model. I was hoping that Dell would have finally got it right with AO3. But now it a whole new panel and were back to ground zero.

Where did you get this info?

Welcome to Dell. The 2007FP has used both Samsung S-PVA and LG.Philips S-IPS panels.

Dude, they do that all the time. Notebooks will often have 2 or even 3 companies making a display. It drives people crazy, but it allows Dell to meet demand.

Not saying that this story is true, but that does happen. Same thing with HDs, DVD players....

What I kinda find weird is that the panel was never the problem in the first place; it was the firmware controlling it. heh. I guess when more people get A03's we'll have more data and results to get the firmware differences (if any) compared to A02.

Yeah, its back up to 890. Do you think theyll keep it at this price now that (IF) the A03s are finally problem free?
Or will they still keep the competitive pricing?

What's the point of displaying images any bigger that just show the A03? I'm just happy to see that A03, and now we can wait for the tests. : )

The point is to make them more readable...

How about some high res pictures? What's the deal with posting pictures that are 3 inches across?
