c400 battery looks bad but still works?

Question

I got a c400 and the power light blinks orange 4 times. I read that that is a battery problem and I checked that status lights on the battery and when I push the button the frist middle and last lights blink. So yea I need to get a new battery. but the thing is I still works, and holds a charge for around 2 hours and will recharge. anyone know whats up?

I guess the circuit that tests the battery went out.

Danger will robinson. This means the monitoring circuit failed.
It also means that un attended or even while you watch your dell could burst into flames.

Lipo batteries are dangerous.
