Inspiron 8100 Vista network drivers

Question

Just installed Vista on my Inspiron 8100. Unlike WinXP, it did not recognise my built-in network adapter. Just wondering whether anyone here knows where I could download some generic network drivers for it.... or whether I could install the drivers off my winXP cd. I'm not even sure what the make of the network card/adapter is.

They should be installed with the chipset drivers, if not, you're going to have to find a 3rd party driver because DELL doesnt support Vista at this time.

The 8100 likely uses a 3Com network interface. If so, the XP drivers will work with Vista.
