it has caught 4 ACTIVE spyware working on my computer
What utility says there are 4 spyware programs running on your computer? The reason I ask is that whatever found them should be able to also remove them.
Yes, a complete reformat will clear up the spyware issues but probably isn't necessary. You can scan your system with one of the free and popular utilities I've listed below to fix most problems. Remember to update the program before running a scan. Rebooting your system will not get rid of spyware.
You also mentioned viruses. Did you run some utility that says you have a virus? IF you use any of the AV utilities I listed below be sure and only have one AV program running at a time or conflicts may occur.
thx ALOT. also the program that caught the spyware was my computer itself no program. i hav windows xp home edition SP2. and 1 spyware acually got in my registry that when i really got scared idk if i deleted it. also (lol i keep saying also, BUT IM SERIOUS!) i recently found out my bro went on some adult sites without the firewall up im wondering if this caused most or all of my viruses and spyware making my computer going crazy. the thing im really worried about is the spywae that got in my registry idk if i cleared it, if it can be cleared, or whats the worst it can do (i.e. erase/corrupt registry files, hacks, personal information theft( i never made credit transactions online))

You could try a Google search for that file to learn more about it - I've never encountered it.
I'm mainly curious as to what program you used to finally get rid of the problem. Was it one of the utilities I suggested?
