2407WFP cant display 1920x1200

Question

Hi i just ordered my 2407wfp and im pretty happy with it ... i like it and it works fine in VGA mode but i have certain issues with the DVI mode ... as soon as i hook up the DVI cable, there is a pink stripe on the left of the screen and i cant seem to get the native resolution to work ... all the others are workin (little blurry with a pink strip on the left .. but working) as soon as i select 1920x1200 it tell me 'out of range signal' .... i gotta change it into that exact resolution ... does anyone know how to fix this ? because that dude at the support hotline didnt know anything just offered to send me a new one ... i dont know if its a problem with the monitor or the graphicscard or any of the above i just know its not working ... ive got a brand new pc with a 7600gt in it so nvidia drivers are installed and 2 dvi outputs available so that shopuldt be the problem ... changing the DVI frequncy didnt do anything either ... i just dont know what to do Dittus

you using latest nvidia drivers from nvidia website not from cd?

ive got the ones from the cd on it ... but it still should work i mean theyre from april 2006 ...
i just have a 56k modem right now ... on wednesday ill get my dsl back and ill be downloading the new ones ...
you think that should do it ?

I just researched the same issue with my D820s nVidia Quadro 120NVS 512Mb gfx and came up with this:

I suspect if you check with nVidia for the tech specs of your card, you will find something similar.

Can work ok in "Analog mode" (VGA) but it cannot drive the same high resolutions in Digital mode (DVI).

That said, If your card has 2 DVI outputs, have you tried using the other (bottom) one? Some nV cards can only do the higher resolution outputs on one of the ports.
