thank's Denny. said that i needed to insert disk, which I don't have. am still on hold with support. think changed dll is root of all problem. tried to get pps to acc with outlook but pps file photos will not open says no file acc with opening it?
when i do a viris scan the both come up as changed. ran a sfn and said i needed to put in disk which i don't have any ideas other than living on hold with dell support?
Contact Dell at one of the links in
this post and request an XP reinstallation CD.
For the *.pps problem, download the PowerPoint Viewer from
here. This will open those files if you save them to hard disk and then double-click them in Windows Explorer. To open them from within Outlook Express, make the registry change needed with the little file available
here.
