i had that problem and it was a faulty ram stick, but my inspiron eats ram for breakfast now, 3 sticks in a month! take it out and it should work i think..
I guess "your hubs" means "your hubby". I was trying to picture what kind ofa hub you have connected to your computer and how that might fit into the picture!
Try the check suggested about another video monitor. Eliminate that possibility first before you do anything else.
Just out of curiosity, how'd you get your Inspiron to quit eating mem sticks? Anyway, tried that on my end and that didn't help. I think it's terminal.
Yep, sorry...hubs is husband. I should have explained that further. Well, I'm guessing it is terminal. Tried another monitor....nothing. Tried removing the mem stick...nothing.

Definitely will try that. Thanks for the tip. Although since the hard drive isn't spinning/running in it, I'm sure that's not completely the problem.
Thanks again!

You should be able to connect to a monitor and see what happens.

So nothing happens when you switch it on? Have you tried it on a different monitor?

Thanks for the tip, though!
